If you are considering a new pick up
Take a look and test drive in the new Ram Dodge. They are impressive.
After a lifetime of GM products [and no complaints, GM has given me excellent service] I drove a Ram, then promptly when in the sales office and bought one. After 1200 miles I am completely satisfied and consider it a quality product. Quite, smooth, refined.

Re: If you are considering a new pick up
The new Dodge has been rated over Ford and Chevrolet for the last couple years.

Re: If you are considering a new pick up
I’ve got a 2019 Ram 1500 and I have to say it’s an amazing truck. If your in the truck market you owe it to yourself to go drive one.

Re: If you are considering a new pick up
Ram seems to have an edge for now.
All big 3 mfg make nice trucks. A lot of it comes down to what you like. I'm bias, since my first new truck was a Dodge in 1982. Out the door price then was 8672.00 totally loaded 1/2 ton. Every truck I have had has been a Dodge/Ram. My last new one, which I still own, is a 2003 3500 / Cummins. It has been a great truck. Now has 259K miles on it. Just drove it 4400 miles with no concerns. The new trucks are nice, but can't seem to wear the one I have out. Oh, maybe the 50K & up pricing has something to do with that. LOL |

Re: If you are considering a new pick up
My next vehicle is going to be a truck. Been looking. The Rams are gaining ground quickly on the other two brands. Many people really like the huge screen on the Rams navigation system. I still hear the Fords are the best overall truck, but I'm just looking and listening. I have always been a GM buyer, but after their closing of a huge manufacturing plant here in Ohio last fall and keeping Mexico plants running full steam, I'm done with them, I'll pick one of the other two

Re: If you are considering a new pick up
I purchased a 2500 4wd Ram last year and it is by far the best truck I have ever owned.
I researched and drove the Fords and was not impressed. I will never own another GM product for many reasons. I also have a good friend with a body shop who steered me away from the aluminum bodies on the Fords. He told me the entire body was all replacement panels. No real body work to be done on the aluminum. It also takes special tools to put the cab body panels together and a total kit to do so was $10,000. That was something he was not willing to spend to work on the Fords. He will not be working on the new Fords with aluminum bodies. I do own 2 Ford cars and I am happy with them but I guess I will only drive their cars. Just My 2 Cents Rick Cates Canyon, TX |

Like my GMC 5.3 1500. Drove from San Antonio to Marble Falls and back today, 296,452 on the odometer when I got home.
