Are they the same car?
The second one appears different.
Interesting that it does not have Jim Hayter's name on it.
Maybe this one was before his time.

It says "restored to SS/E specifications". I guess they didn't notice it's got an automatic in it.

Is this the real deal, or a "tribute" car?

Whats with the single master cylinder???All GM cars had a dual master cylinder from 1967 on!!!!!!

There are only rear brakes on this car.Those who were there in those days might care to elaborate more but I recall reading that AHRA allowed elimination of the front brakes. If you look close at the fronts you can see there are no brakes on it.

Charlie, good eyes...I didn't even notice the difference in the first photo, the decals on the rear quarter panel, the lettering on the front fender, and all of the decals on the lower body line are "All Different".
