Mr. Roper and Mr. Buchanan should have been far enough away...they live closer to Conway. These tornado's are horrible. I hope everyone stays safe in Mississippi and Alabama as well.

The tornado's path was about 8 miles south of Conway. Bill and Verne live within a mile of me and Bobby lives about 12 miles west across the Arkansas River. We are all several miles northwest of the tornado path and we were untouched. It went north of Searcy where Billy Lynn lives (and my brother) and I don't think Kevin Stubbs was anywhere close. Kevin's dad, Marlon live northeast of Searcy and I haven't heard anything about him.

Having lived in Arkansas all my life and endured many tornadoes you get accustomed to the events, but the devastation you never get used to. I spent all day yesterday working with my church group to provide assistance and will probably work every evening this week.

I spoke with my good friend, Jeff Colvert this morning. He lives in Arkadelphia and said that he was fine and the damage was about 55 miles away from him.

One barely missed my house in Bolton, the shop and my bar in Jackson. Plenty of friends hit homes and businesses. Friend and fellow racer Mike Townsend's family business Central Pipe Supply was wiped out as well as about 12 other businesses in the area.
