Trailers to avoid
I got disgusted over the past few years with ATC. Bought 6 trailers since 2017 from them and have had nothing but problems. Had 2 stackers with lifts that were constantly having to go in for service. One time the lift simply fell down to the ground when it got to the tilt lift part. Had the lift get stuck and had to send another trailer down to move cars. The other trailers have had horrible build quality so I finally got pissed and sold off most of them. Customer service from their home office was awful. They tried screwing my dealer multiple times instead of taking ownership of their QC issues.
I have enough proof points to stay away from ATC. Rather than tell me what to buy, any suggestions on what to avoid? I know any brand can have it's issues, I'm just curious who stands behind their work if something does go wrong. I replaced most of what I sold, but will likely add either a 2 car or prefer, 3 car 5th wheel next year. Would like to avoid what I just went through. |
