Someone asked about the trans axle R&R on my Escort , which is for sale down below.
I've only done it with it attached to the engine , which was easy enough. It's never had to come out for any reason. I'm pretty sure it will come out from the bottom, if one refers to a shop manual.
Also someone asked about the PCV system. You can see the factory tube that the valve sits in, in this pic. It's all a factory setup ,except that the breather hose and filter used to be in the air filter container , which is no longer used. It's now off the valve cover with a short piece of hose.
