Re: Midwest supercomp series 2011 schedule
Why so many one day races? One of the most attractive things about running with you guys was the "2 races in one weekend" factor. I also noticed that you are not going back to Tri State. Bad experience?
Not trying to be critical, just asking.

Tri-state a Bad experience? Not at all,Tri-state was a great experience, but several members (not me*) thought the tow out there was too long. (*IMO Tri-state is a great little race track and the folks out there are some of the nicest I've met so I hope we go back soon.)

Re: Midwest supercomp series 2011 schedule
I certainly understand how difficult it can be to schedule a series like yours. I used to be involved in a S/G association and saw first hand how it is. I think the tracks are dealing with the same financial problems that most businesses (and people) are dealing with. If they don't have enough going on that day, I am sure they are not going to want to open up just for a super comp race. Joliet has never really been that accommodating anyway. Seems like all they care about is the circle track next door.
I am sure I will still come play with you guys a few times this year. I am not sure I can tolerate listning to Leak 4 times, so I doubt I will make all the Byron races. I am disappointed there is no race at Tri State. It is a bit farther than some places, but a nice facility and very nice folks. I would also like to see a two day race a Cordova, but I guess it is close enough that it isn't that big of a deal. We will just have to see how it goes come spring. Thanks to everyone at MWSCA for their hard work setting this series up.

Re: Midwest supercomp series 2011 schedule
I just noticed that IRP and the Grove are both 1/8th mile. I always thought that was the stupidest thing to have an 1/8th mile race at a 1/4 mile track.

Re: Midwest supercomp series 2011 schedule
I would like to suggest we drop the Cordova race and just make it a 2-day at Byron.

Re: Midwest supercomp series 2011 schedule
There are already too many races at Byron! Why would they add one more. Its not the Byron super comp association.

Re: Midwest supercomp series 2011 schedule
I know you had a bad experience at Byron., and dont really want to go there. I am looking at the fact that Cordova is having their points race the same day, while Byron is a test and tune along with the bikes. Also I would rather drive to only one place and save a little diesel. I pretty much have ruled out going to the Indy race if fuel prices keep going up.

Re: Midwest supercomp series 2011 schedule
Well were trying to be fair to the guys from the Cordova area that support us unfortunately since Cordova is open Friday night and Saturday they don't want to be open Sunday.
