oil pan temp sensor
going to put a sensor in my oil pan for temp.1/8 in sensor.who sells the little bungs to weld into a aluminum pan?

Use one of these made by a few manufactures. It has a 1/2-20 thread that assuming your oil drain plug is that size should screw right in. The center of it is tapped at 1/8 pipe. I use it mine in a stock pan. If its in an aluminum pan I'd make sure there's enough threads on the plug to make sure it goes in far enough and doesn't strip the threads in the pan. If need a weld in bung Summit has lots of choices.

If space allows I like having sensor in oil galley.. measure oil flowing through engine... and you don't have to drain oil pulling/installing engine..
just have to be sure it isn't restricting oil |
