Default Exciting news for Sept 17-18th race!

Not only is Saturday September 17th our annual Make A Wish race at Thunder Valley but the MCR B.O.D. would also like to share some exciting news with racers concerning the Sunday September 18th race.

As you know, long time Stock Eliminator racer and MCR sponsor Jim Blair passed earlier this year. Jim was a true believer in the 'little guy' racer, which is the foundation of M.C.R.

In Jim's honor, his wife and family will cover the entry fee for all M.C.R. racers for Sunday's event.

Having done a fair amount of research on this, we believe this is truly a first. It speaks to Jim's sense of fair play, inclusion and a mutual beneficial situation for everyone. As Jim told me many times: "Everyone deserves a seat at the table".

Along with this special event, Sunday also features the Midwest Factory Finishes 'Second Chance Shootout' where all first round 'runner ups' go into a special event that's run run gambler-style. As always, there is no cost to anyone for this event as Charlie Abdouch's Midwest Factory Finishes covers the entry fee and the purse!

More to come as we get nearer.
