Fall of Saigon
On this date, 47 years ago, the American presence in Vietnam ended. Two Marines were the last to fall: Charles McMahon, 11 days short of his 22nd birthday, was a Corporal from Woburn, Massachusetts. Darwin Judge was a 19-year-old Lance Corporal and Eagle Scout from Marshalltown, Iowa. May they never be forgotten. Semper fi my brothers and former Marine Security Guards.

Re: Fall of Saigon
My brother did a tour in Nam. Fortunately he was in the SeaBees and was not in direct combat. Made it home in one piece. That was one very disastrous time for our Military men. I don't think we should have ever been there.

Re: Fall of Saigon
Written by a friend of Darwin Judge.
My boyhood friend and fellow Eagle Scout, L/CPL Darwin L. Judge (L) of Marshalltown, Iowa, was killed during the Fall Of Saigon on April 29, 1975. He and fellow Marine Security Guard, CPL Charles McMahon, Jr. of Woburn, Massachussetts, (R) (Boy of the Year, Woburn Boys Club - 1971) were the last two men to lose their lives in Vietnam during an attack by the North Vietnamese on Ton Sun Nhut Airbase. This page is dedicated to their memory and to honor all who served in Southeast Asia. "Freedom Isn't Free"
