Picked up my tranny and a Mark Yacavone converter yesterday. Thanks Mike Graham for building me a low gear C4.

About 6k so far. I over spent on a few things but wanted to do it right the first time. These parts will last a long time and handle the 11 second bracket motor I plan on running most of the time. I don't want to beat my stocker motor at all the local races.
Had a good day on the car Saturday. Finally got all the sound deadener and seam sealer dug out of the car, and cut out a bunch of un needed wires, and got the rubber bushings out of the A-arms. What a pain that was.

I have experienced your same pain Robbie, and I must do so one more time on my own stocker a-arm bushings. I would say "never again" after that, but life has had a way of surprising me on that "never" word.
Enjoying watching your progress on your build happen and taking hope from yours that mine will complete the way I want it to also. It is conceivable we could meet up some day!

Maybe you guys already know this, but I've had good luck removing rubber bushings by setting them on the driveway and lighting 'em up with a torch. They sit there and burn until nothing's left but the metal sleeve.
Works like a charm!

I've used an air hammer with pretty good success on those bushings, on the advice of a mechanic buddy of mine.

Last two suggestions , in conjunction with one another, work well.
Heat the outer casing with a torch until the rubber pops out, then fold the casing in with an air chisel and push it right out . No chisel marks that way.
Just don't let the EPA see you do this.

make sure you dump the junk in the river...seems to be ok with the epa out here

Made some good headway this weekend. I got the upper and lower suspension braces bolted, then welded in. Almost ready to bolt in the rear end. I'm still undecided what brand of shocks to run and whether to run a air bag in the right side.

Put a NERF football in the right spring seen it before?????? NO JOKE! Does it work don't know!
If your 302 runs like mine it won't make enough power to lean to the right LOL!
