Re: Passing of Mark Osterbye
Good morning to all,
We all lost a true Individual in our sport of Drag Racing, and I mean that with with a great deal of respect. Over the years Mark and I spoke and he guided me as well as others. I got to know Mark from racing the Stock/Super Stock races at Raceway Park and from dealing with Fred from Trans Torque in Englishtown. About two years ago my son and I took our Nova to Island to get some runs on a Saturday at a Bracket race. Then Mark drives up and asks what am I doing there? I thought he was there helping another racer, but he told me he just wanted to hang out, he said "I still love this stuff"! Ron you are blessed to come to know Mark as well as you did, I'm also thankful he was there to give me some guidance as well. God speed my friend. Respectfully, Henry Kunz 1534 H/SA |
