NHRA 95 DB rule for s/st?
How many of you s/st guys are getting away with open exhaust?
I'm planning on going to the divisional race at CDP this weekend, & I got the car down to 10.83 last sat night, but the weather was better than they're predicting this week. I'd like to take the 3" tailpipes & muffs off to save some weight & maybe make a tad more power. Do you think I could get away with a big block w / 3" headers & X pipe?

The db rule is in the book but it has not been enforced for years. A lot of cars at div & nat events don,t have mufflers.

If they're not saying to S/C & S/G guys they probably won't say anything to you. Wouldn't hurt to be prepared in case.
