Let Schumacher's cars win, or else
http://nhraracer.com/content/general...525&zoneid=132
Clearly a hit on the projected performance of the 351, not what it has actually done to date. The fix is in. Never happen but I wish everyone would just stay home and let Schumacher race himself.

They keep it up and the millionaires will take their toys and go home. Don’t mean to sound childish, just hope NHRA is in constant dialogue with the teams otherwise frustration will peak.

Re: Let Schumacher's cars win, or else
It's just completely beyond ridiculous.
Gators they were 25 thou behind the best COPO. COPO loses blower OD anyway. Charlotte, they were 23 thou behind the best COPO. COPO loses blower OD anyway. Virginia they just had a bad race. Out 60 footed everyone except Skinner yet were a tenth behind the best CJ/COPO at the stripe. That wouldn't have happened if they were good passes, as they could previously hang with the COPO before the 2 pulley changes. Yet they still get a gift given to them. The NHRA guy on the podcast said they wanted these cars to run high 7.90s in mineshaft air and they would slow them down to that. Well a DP ran 7.85 in worse than mineshaft air at the Gators, yet they never attempted to slow them down, and now quite the opposite. Fezell is the one guy who has run the 351, he's been nearly 2 tenths behind the top cars, and he loses blower OD too? Any of this seem logical at all?

Time to just race in the NMCA. From what I've heard they aren't making anymore changes over there. DSR can't control them. Better track prep and payout too. This is ridiculous what the NHRA has allowed DSR to do.

Re: Let Schumacher's cars win, or else
I've heard it stated both ways, that it is the 331/TVS and the 351/2.9. Maybe both have been used this year? Regardless, there's still no justification for taking blower OD from the 351/2.9.

Re: Let Schumacher's cars win, or else
He did tell me in Richmond he had a new motor coming. Not sure if it was the 351?

Mr. Turk said on Facebook yesterday that no one is running the 351, but someone has been on the dyno with one. He did not say who.

Re: Let Schumacher's cars win, or else
Mr. Danner. To keep everyone competing in this class there will be adjustments made to keep ALL contestants on an equal level. This was made last year when the Drag Pak had an advantage and now NHRA has done the same again. I know you would be happiest if it was an all Ford field, but that is not going to happen
