Quotas
Since the end of the year is here and everyone is looking at points, here is a suggestion. Every race should have at least a 70 quota which makes every race a 7 round race! I haven't looked at it closely yet, but winning and running it up at a 6 round race as opposed to a 7 round race instead of 94 points, you only get 84 points. At the end of the year, it could make a difference! I think all national event tracks could accommodate the 10 extra per class! So what do yall think?

Re: Quotas
Every National Event should take at least 70 entries with a minimum 64 car qualified field. Bring performance back to qualifying for a National Event in Stock and Super Stock.

Re: Quotas
You really want to give the NHRA haters more Ammo. I can see it now, sorry no qualifying because of rain, these 6 are out because you have the lowest points total...

Re: Quotas
If there is no qualifying because of rain, first rd. would be ALL RUN…..Random Pairing. I totally agree with DG, however take 75 cars and qualify for 64 spots …It can be done …..

Re: Quotas
Patsy,
Fine, but the Divisional points are combined for the national total. Some guys do very well in the smaller divisions, nationally. Not knocking..God bless 'em.

Re: Quotas
All you have to do is win! Just two weeks ago we saw a first round single for 85 points.

Re: Quotas
To me it is a lot more fun when there is real qualifying involved...
