Neil Peart passes
Sad news for rock and roll lovers as we lost one of greatest drummers ever. Saw Bonham & Moon live, and Rush in the mid 70's. I think Neil was the tops.

Re: Neil Peart passes
Heard the news on the way home, my favorite drummer for sure. Rush was my high school favorite band. I remember one time his drum set was so big it collapsed a stage

Re: Neil Peart passes
I saw Rush 3 times between 79 and 87, I played drums and sang lead in a Rush tribute band back in the 80s on Long Island. Neil suffered so much after the loss of his daughter and wife and had to go through this, sometimes life is just not fair.

Re: Neil Peart passes
Hated to hear the news about Neil.....A Fantastic talent and what a unique man he was. He left those of us that loved their music with many great songs and DVD's....I have a ton of Rush stuff.....Being a lifelong wannabee drummer, he was one of my idols.....RIP Neil Peart...

Re: Neil Peart passes
They are honoring Neil Peart in the town of Port Dalhousie by constructing a pavilion in his name. It will be at Lakeside Park where Neil had worked as a teenager. " though it's just a memory, some memories last forever "
