M/T Pro Bracket Radials question

Anyone tried these yet? I'm interested to see how they perform on tracks with poor prep.

I've been running ET drags, 28 x 10 x 15's, for a while and they seem to work well for me but I'm due for a new set of tires and I'm interested in the pro bracket radials for the advertised benefits. If I switch, is my setup going to need substantial adjustment? My car is a 91 mustang notch, ~550 HP NA smallblock, 6.45-6.55 in the 1/8th, low tens in the 1/4, 1.35-1.40 60' times at 2950 pounds. C4 trans with a pro brake.

The ET drags seem to be pretty forgiving on mediocre to poor track prep, how will the bracket radials handle poor track prep? Is it going to take a "drag radial prep" to get these bracket radials to work?

I was running the m/t 28x9x15 bias ply slicks and switched to the 28x9 pbr, on my combo (mild small block mopar 69 dart 3125 lbs) i didnt pick up or lose any 60ft.

On our stockers we pick up about a tenth with small block mopars (High 10s)
That is for 1/4 mile overall.....60 ft. not very much at all. The are fussy
about track prep and do not recover as quick!

I didn't make too many adjustments when I switched to them from Hoosier slicks on my GTO. The car has an IRS and has been finicky in the past but I've had great luck with those tires. Also MPH really well

Was talking with a friend of mine who is one of the owners of TRZ Motorsports. We got on a discussion about tires and he said he has a few customers that have been running the M/T Pro Bracket Radial at the No Prep events with good success. I was surprised a radial would work that well on that type of track surface.

A friend of mine runs these on his 2005 Mustang and loves them. He runs super pro brackets and 10.0 index at multiple tracks. I'm guessing he has over 150 passes so far this year on the same set of tires.

We made the switch on a high-9 third gen Camaro. Tire is slightly narrower and actually fit our rear wheel better. Tire pressure and limiting the burnout time appear to be the keys to consistency with them.

The car has been on both types of tracks (prepped and non-prepped) and handles them well but the one thing we have noticed is that if the track starts to get slick with humidity later in the evening, traction with them becomes a little edgy.
