Default Keeping trailer nice without shelter

I have an expensive enclosed car trailer and right now I don't have a place to keep it inside. Wondering if anyone had any suggestions. I try to keep it cleaned and waxed. Wondering if there are trailer covers or another option someone would recommend

g,
While I can't speak to a cover for a trailer, I will tell you that folks who use a cloth / fabric / whatever cover for their motorhomes and/or travel trailers are generally very unhappy with the results. The wind wears on the paint and they are a real pain to install and remove, especially when wet from rain or dew.

If you are truly unable to keep your trailer in a stall of some sort, you're doing about all you can by keeping it washed and waxed with a good quality product. And for goodness sakes, keep the tires covered and out of the sun and coated with 303.

I bought a carport (metal top) and it's the best thing since sliced bread if you don't have a garage to keep it in.

I have to park my enclosed trailer and pickup outside and and also have trees. Not a good combination. I have owned both since they were new.

My truck is a 2008 Dodge D-3500 DRW and it has never spent a night inside in its life.

It has "camper shell".

I have a California Car Cover for it and it is on the truck most all the time. The truck still looks very good. The cover fits well and I have not noticed any paint wear and it is windy in Oklahoma.

I am pretty good at getting the cover off and on by myself but it can be tough and frustrating if it is windy. Much easier if I ask my wife for help.

The trailer a 24ft 2001 Classic has not faired so well. It will take a compound job for it to really look good again.

If I were to get a new trailer I would seriously consider a cover for it. However getting it on and off would not be easy. My truck cover can be washed at a commercial laundry. I don't know if a trailer cover could be, something to check.

The covers don't last forever. I think I am on at least my third cover for the truck. One cover was replaced under warranty. The cover on it now has been repaired once under warranty. The UV from the sun is very hard on the stitching.

Probably more than most of you wanted to know but I hope it helps someone.

The issue that most trailers incur are the black streaks that run down the sides. This happen from dirt and fallout that lays on the roof and then is washed down on the sides of the trailer when it rains. You can minimize this by install a gutter system around the sides of the trailer. RV supply companies sell a simple self stick gutter that will do the job, or if you want to be creative you can purchase some aluminum channel and attach it to the side of the trailer. This will extend the life of the paint,
