Thanks for commenting, I've followed your car in the past and was certainly impressed with the results you achieved in ss/cs. The rpm at peak power of our combo is close to yours, out of interest what were you aiming for on the shift points? We might be a little conservative with ours from first impressions.

Thanks for the help.
We were'nt ideal in how our car was shifting in terms of performance back then. We were shifting the 1-2 shift a little late due to the way our car would be in the wheelstand. So we would shift both gear changes around 9500. Knowing what we know now, I would be running a bit looser converter and shifting a little higher up on the 2-3 and get out of low a little earlier.

Best of luck,
Mike

Thanks Mike, appreciate the input. I agree with the converter comment, everytime we have tried our tighter converter the car has always run slower.

Thanks again for the help

Are you the Mate that has been working with Brenton Marusic?
Brenton had reached out to me with the same question last year. I had given him some feedback that I had discussed with Adger Smith. Our conclusion and the feedback I gave Brenton was to keep the gear spread, put more gear and also use a looser torque converter. I believe the higher RPM operation scared Brenton a bit.
