You would think that they would ask for a vote, ya or nay.

I'm not arguing with you Tom so don't take it that way.. I was fine with the transition from the old bulbs to LED. I started struggling when it went to .470. It's my fault I race a Tank with 28" front tires.

About 2 weeks ago most of us received a email from our Division .90 Sportsman reps on this question asking for our response , I got it on Jan 26.
I've talked to several racers who found it was stopped by their spam filter since it was sent by a private email rather than by NHRA channels This seems to have been very hurried and poorly handled ,Typical for NHRA anymore.

Incandescent bulbs couldn't handle the vibration of Top Alky or Top Fuel.

I don't run SG, but I think that's the class that will tighten up most from this change.

Regan, I'm surprised with your power that you had struggles on the tree. My car is 3600# with 28" fronts and a 3400 launch RPM, with .040+ in the box. But I do have radial slicks that are probably helpful.

Tony I don't struggle now. I was talking about way back when they started the 70 lights. I leave pretty soft. I refer to my truck leaving the line as watching Grandma getting out of bed.
