Default Air Conditioning Recomendations

I would like to put an air conditioning unit in my enclosed trailer and would like to hear what anyone with a unit like would recommend. It has the wiring roughed into the celling opening and a separate circuit breaker. Thanks in advance.

I have a Coleman 13,500 BTU with heat strip, works ok on my 28 ft insulated trailer

I found a nice one just doing several search’s online for about $400. I wouldn’t waste my money on the heat strip. That didn’t do much. I couldn’t believe the deal but it was true and has been working great for at least 7 years or more. And they are easy to install

Thanks for the input. This past summer convinced me it was time to do this. My girlfriend also had input on this subject.

I just replaced the one in my RV it's a Dometic brand with a heat pump.
But it's a little over 1300.

Mike,
I've found that PPL in Houston usually has the best pricing on RV air conditioning units. I've dealt with them for years for the units on my RV's as well as my work trucks.

Here's a deal on one with a heat pump:

Oh, and I fixed your sentence for you: :-)
