The lightning issue raised Havoc with the timing system we got a lot of first-round done but there was a bunch of problems because of the lightning I don't think first round got all finished then it rained hard

Even with the weather, the reruns and getting drenched loading the car it was great to be out racing again. Even a tough weather weekend beats the best day at work. Can't wait for next weekend so we can do it again. Barry

I tried to tell Ed a few years ago to put an auto in it. I do have a spare trany and converter. We could put it in at the track. LOL BP

Sorry to hear about the tranny. You may want to give Tom Goldman or Aris a call, I don’t think a crack in that area of a 904 is very common. You may have some sort of stress or miss alignment. You do have a unique piece there and only a select few would have the info you may need.

Re: ASRA race 1&2 Lebanon Valley, Lucas tune up !
The amc bellhousing is really thin in that area and was made for the 6 cylinder cars,,,although some amc v8 did come with them ,I know of one other racer withe same combo having the same issue ,,I checked the converter alignment and spacing, but further inspection upon disassembly ,,,
But was great to see and be apart of the racing class See you at the next asra event Last edited by gmonde; 06-29-2020 at 09:32 PM. |
