I just saw the "Texas Nationals best engineering" video portion on NHRA TV about this Harry Clack creation. Simply an amazing piece...
And we didn't see an under car view yet ???

Enjoy,
That photo shows a more traditional tow strap, but at Dallas they had the nose hung on the back of a golf cart as you might see a junior dragster being towed.

Super cool car for sure!

You will find more photos of Clint Neff’s dragster that were put on Facebook by the builder, Mr. Harry Clack.
I must give some special thanks to Mr. Mark F. Brown for taking his time to share those photos.

You must see and study some construction details like:
-Base adjustable links for rear wing strut angle correction purpose
-Battery support cover.
-Base floor design and side black diffusors position
-Delta wing details
-Upper body “air extractor” near side foot X brace section
-Front foot X brace side panels center section junction disposition
-Width of the rear end (a little bit narrower than the old Mike Bos chassis craft design)
Side mounted canards at the back near the tires
At the end, the most intriguing part of our email exchange was that text:
This A/ED is a “work in progress”.
(You can click on those photos for a better view)
Enjoy,

If you want a deep dive with Darin Morgan on the engine used in this car watch this:

It is over three hours long but most of the stuff about the Ford engine is towards the front. However tidbits are scattered through the entire interview.

I have got to think we will see this engine in Pro Stock someday.
