On the other hand, I have received responses from AZ Republicans supporting our sport and hobby; the Democrats have been silent on the subject. An exception was a very nice response from AZ Kristen Synema, an independent that leans with liberals/democrats. In her response she stated that although she supports a clean environment, having lived in Arizona and having first hand knowledge of how important hot rodding and racing is for the state of Arizona, that she will support an exception for those that modify cars for racing and as a hobby.
Now that the democrat socialist party is in the Whitehouse, this will become one of their top priorities.

There is already a huge crackdown on off road ( cat-less) exhaust sales with companies stop shipping non c.a.r.b. certified pipes and tuner companies no long doing tunes.

This should be a huge priority for NHRA right now because over 90 % of their income is derived from racers using vehicles that were originally production line with a VIN.

The EPA wants to go after ANY vehicle with a V.I.N. that has any modifications done to defeat the original emmisions equipment, even if the vehicle is only used for drag racing, autocross, mud bogging, drifting, etc., etc.

That's why gearheads, racers, etc. from all forms of motorsports should be concerned.

As posted above, this basically means all 1968 and newer vehicles could be affected ( and maybe some older than that that had smog pumps )

In other words, 99.x % of full body drag cars and trucks will be affected because not everyone in Stock and Super Stock races a " Body in White " race car that never had a VIN

In these days of heightened "greenness" it would set a good example not to go and kick off a pallet of 2.5. tons of used nickel/? batteries from the Space Station the other day, to let all of that krap to burn up in the precious atmosphere.

Only a Neanderthal would be more concerned with something as nasty, crude and simple minded as racing cars than with saving the planet.

You're a selfish brute if you believe otherwise.

I saw this last night on the news where chiknee joe has fired all of the members of the e.p.a. advisory board that were appointed by Pres. Trump. I don't think anything good will come from that.Time to stock up on various chemicals, light bulbs, dishwashers that dry the dishes, ect. .
