Agree harnesses are a disposable item and it’s what I’ve been doing since I purchased my first Simpson harness in 1996. Besides I like new stuff.

I always used Simpson.
They used to recertify theirs, but actually what you got was a complete reweb, they only used the hardware.
but that was back in the 90s

As far as I know all "recerts" are actually "rewebs".

Probably takes more labor to reweb than to make a new one, but I like the idea of reusing the hardware.

Yes we (PRO 1) offer recertification/rewebb on our belts, we are not allowed per SFI to rewebb another manufactures belts.Most are not aware that the recert process requires rewebbing the entire belt and not just attaching a new SFI tag.Most companies that do not offer recert/rewebbing is because they are not made here in the USA..
