Well guys, I'm back from my two week adventure. I see I have missed alot. I had several people mention to me ( At Indy and Bowling Green) how they enjoy this thread! So lets get to it /// I'm going back to my roots. Straight out of my headphone files ....

I grew up about 30 miles from these guys, but this song was never played on Hartford radio..Maybe the title was too suggestive for the prudes at WPOP and WDRC.
It wasn't called punk back then, either. It IS definitely what is now known as Garage Rock..all the elements are there..The reverb, the echo, the vocal style Just B-A, for 1966!
I can tell you that when I listen to The Squires,...so do all my neighbors..

From the "Road" album...One of the best Country Rock records of 1974..Unfortunately somewhat eclipsed ..by the Eagles, Ronstadt, etc.

Like a commentor said, "This man could sing the phone book, and I'll buy it"
