No, the car won’t be ready for the April race. Summer at the soonest now. The next big project is to wire the car and I need to give it 2 to 3 months. I’ve done a fair amount of wiring, but haven’t tried a from scratch EFI harness, so I wanna take my time to try and avoid any mistakes. |

Been putting it off being a PITA, but got the fire system 90% plumbed...all 1/4" stainless hard line. Just have to mount the nozzles once a couple more fittings come in.

Last weekend I spent some time building a new wishbone, delay box mount and some other small brackets so I could deliver them to powder coating and anodizing.

Preparing to start wiring here soon. The plan is to start in the back and work my way forward. Needed to mock up the shock sensors to wire them, but the shock simulator blocked them from bolting up forcing me to mock up the shocks temporarily. Simulator goes back on as soon as the rear wiring is complete.

Small update on the most recent progress. First off was to prepare to bond the roof supports to the cage. This required stripping the powder coat off to bare metal, yet not damage the powder coat outside of the bond area. Alot harder than it should have been because like a dummy I put the tubs in the car and my access to reach the area was gone now. Had to reach from outside the car making it quite challenging.

Next up was to finish up the parachute. The old chute bag was badly sun faded so I got a new replacement. The aluminum spring can was pretty beat up from the crash so I straightened it as best as I could then had it powder coated in an effort to save it. Lastly, a new chute cable installed.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The last few things were to install new door lock cylinders then sandblasting the trunk latch & hardware then installing as well as the trunk lock cylinder. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
