Glenn with the low car quota's it's almost a moot point to run class at National Events. I Still believe that most of the fast older cars are fast because racers like you have put the time effort and money into making your car fast. Not to mention you know what you're doing. If they really want to find out how fast some of the Stockers are run class at an open. BP

Atco would be a great place to start.

Barry - They already run class at Atco Open and Dutch Classic. Not for a Wally, though - you get a plaque from PC Richards.

The GLSSSA, the NMCA and the Ohio STK/SS association are the main drivers for us wanting to build a super stocker out of our bracket car. Gives us many options ever year to race within 3 hrs of home. $ spent/ 'fun unit' is not there for only NHRA races, for us.Dad hasn't raced NHRA (s/c) in 20 years and I never have.

True

For national events, do you still get a class finalist sticker for making it to the final? I know if you win you get the trophy obviously, and a class winner sticker but I have been outrun in 3 class combo finals in stock over the last few years, and no sticker. Didn't have a shot in any of them, and never thought to ask on the site till now.
