Where we now live, you can't go and vote the usual way, BUT, you can take your mail-in ballot to your normal voting place and hand it in. Here, you can go to any kind of store/business you want, BUT, going to vote is tooo dangerous. The day after Columbus Day, we mailed a note card to a town 15 miles away. It was picked up 5 hours later than normal from our house and arrived at it's destination 7 days later.Sure folks, everything goin' to be just fine.

I was surprised to get a letter wanting to verify who I am from the state of AZ. I had moved twice in 2 years and not all my personal stuff has been changed to 1 new address. I had to give some old info and send the letter in before I can vote.

I voted in person yesterday, had to show my drivers license like it should be required everywhere. Mask were optional, which was nice because I don't own one.

Voted last week. First day Ohio had open voting. Really full and a line, but it moved satisfactorily. I heard an older women telling the clerk "I'm 68 and this is the first election I ever took part in"

If you are not allowed to cast a real vote , and are required to mail it in or drop it off,due to state rules, check your county board of elections to find where you can hand it in to a election worker on election day. I have had too many things I have mailed this year disappear to trust mailing our ballots, or putting it in a box somewhere.
