Default Lithium batteries

I’m considering switching to lithium batteries in my SS. Anyone that uses them already have any feedback on this good or bad? Also are there any brands to stay away from? Thanks

I switched from an XS Power D1600 16v to a single 16v Braille Lithium battery in my dragster last season.

Made the swap at the track and while on scales. lost exactly 40 lbs. which wasn't worth .01 in ET but that's another story. The battery has performed flawlessly, no start issues, even when doubled entered in a bracket race and charges quickly. I highly recommend Braille which based on my research is currently the best on the market. That said, I do not plan at this time to swap the pair of XS Power 16v batteries in my former Super Stocker, because it just works so well and the loss of 80 lbs. maybe detrimental.

I have been using the 16v Go lithium battery for about 6 years. The newer version seem a better than the first design. The only thing I do differently is I have a separate battery at the trailer to run the water pump and the fan. I have ran up to 11 rounds in one day with no problem. The battery is less than 10% discharged from a run and is usually back to 100 % in less than 20 minutes. The battery weighs 8 lbs.

We've been running the Braille lithium 12-volt in both of our stockers, in my son's car for two years, and single year in mine. We ran Braille AGM for many years with great service as well. Braille sells them as a combo with the required battery charger too.

Switched to an Antigravity YTX20 lithium battery last season. 12V, less than 5 lb. So far so good. No complaints. Stock application.
