Tru Start Results
All division voting is closed. I was surprised at the outcome of some of the divisions. I really thought some of the divisions would have been a high percentage of not being in favor. I had some dissapointment in some people wanting to sway the vote in their favor and was hoping for some honesty here. I dont think any russian hacking, but vote early and vote often seems to have happened. It is what it is.
Results Div 1 y-68 n-68 dnm-5 Div 2 y-33 n-28 dnm-4 Div 3 y-51 n-54 dnm-12 Div 4 y-27 n-32 dnm-7 Div 5 y-34 n-38 dnm-6 Div 7 y-38 n-38 499 total votes y-241 48.2% n-258 51.7% Hopefully this gives some perspective on what racers want. It has changed my mind on what racers would prefer. Jeff Last edited by Jeff Stout; 12-28-2016 at 05:39 PM. Reason: more |

Re: Tru Start Results
I am not in for tru start. But in all honestly, if the results are this close this proves that we should not screw up what everybody currently understands and can work with. CN

Re: Tru Start Results
The D6 poll is more accurate. Votes taken directly from D6 racers not an open poll where anyone can vote and as many times as they want. D6 has 2 1/2 times more yes votes than no votes.

Re: Tru Start Results
I only voted once, and I must say I'm impressed that I had 37 other D7 racers side with me in the yes column. However, I'll deal with the hand that I'm dealt, and now that my budget's better, I'll be racing more so it may not matter much down the road....imho

Re: Tru Start Results
The issue is evolving.
Ten years ago, it would have been 15% for...maybe.

Re: Tru Start Results
How about using competition numbers so you could only vote once and to make sure that the vote comes from somebody who has a dog in the fight..

Thanks to both of the "researchers" for taking this on. Perhaps NHRA should ask us about stuff too. OOPS silly me...
