One other little fabrication project was to make a bracket to attach the 10 oz c02 bottle to the side of the fire bottle. Pro Werks billet clamps finished off the mount. Need to drop the bracket off for powder coating.
The travel sensor on the transmission linkage can be used for numerous things when tied into the Holley Dominator EFI.
Can be used for reverse lights, shift indicator, neutral safety switch, high gear timing retard, as well as idle circuit fuel/spark map adjustments to keep from dropping rpm when put in gear. I’m sure there is even more it could do.
Monday (yesterday) was another milestone in the build. Was able to fire up the engine and with some help get the efi adjusted some. Went well, so the next move is to drop the car back off at the body shop to install glass, trim and some other small things.
After that it’ll be time to put the car on a chassis dyno to work on refining the efi tuneup further.
I came to the realization that I didn't have any place to keep my things like tire pressure gauge, cell phone, sungless, or water bottle. Simple solution was to make a dragster glove box and attach it to the weight bar tabs on the passenger side rocker bar. The Mustang is small enough inside that I can reach while in the driver seat (just not belted).
