That bar is actually part of the frame connectors. I’m sure it’s completely overboard but I set out to make the chassis stiff as possible. |

Re: 69 Camaro B/S
What about making a rear driveshaft loop off of that bar?
Very nice build by the way sir.

Re: 69 Camaro B/S
I never thought about connecting the frames left to right. But there is a bunch of stuff that I’m not smart enough to think of. A cage got ours stiff. I may have to make something and see if it helps. Thanks for sharing

Re: 69 Camaro B/S
Got the 2nd set of lowering blocks installed today. While I was down there I decided to check on the drive shaft vs fuel lines and thankfully this is close as it gets.
Here is a picture of frame connectors. I did get the ok from D1 tech on this. I still have mix feelings about it. It’s definitely overkill and way heavier than I expected. I do like how the drive shaft loop is part of it. Maybe down the road I’ll have one fabricated from CM to loose some weight. |

Re: 69 Camaro B/S
I have a chassis stiffener like yours on my '68 Mustang. Definitely tightens up the frame. Mine is from Total Control, a part of Chris Alston's ChassisWorks. Where did you get your unit?
