Correct tire pressure?
I run Phoenix F/X 11.5/29.5 -15 W bias ply's with tubes on my Super Stocker and I have pretty much always run them @ 10.5 psi. However, it was brought to my attention recently that someone thought that was at least a pound low. I know it's a subjective question, but I was wondering what others have run theirs at or their opinion on the matter. Thanks in advance for your input.

I run 9" Hoosiers on my SS/FA 440 Dart. At Las Vegas track which is a factored track. I run 22-24lbs with 1.33 sixty foot times. Good working car and I weigh 235lbs.

Re: Correct tire pressure?
Sometimes you have to go testing to find what is best for "your" combination.

Re: Correct tire pressure?
You can usually run a little more air pressure with wider rims, which helps stability and sidewall life while maintaining a good contact patch. (i.e.: 9" slicks on 10" rims.)

Re: Correct tire pressure?
How hard is it hitting the tire? Do you have a slomo video?
