Re: Yellowstone
Great race track, great owners, restaurant near by. 1.5 miles of Gravel road is in great condition (not the washboard from the past). Airport and town of Billings is 15 minutes with lots of hotels and restaurants.

Re: Yellowstone
I have never been to this track, but I did live in Bozeman, MT for a yr when I was 21. Montana is AMAZING. Been on vacation back there many times. I live ~1600 miles from this track and I would try to go race there given the opportunity. The drive there and the scenery is worth the price of admission to me. Not a lot tracks can I supplement an early rd loss or crappy performance with fly fishing and mountain views 10 mins outside the gate.

Re: Yellowstone
Thanks to Jeff Lane and Andy Friar for giving a better perspective for the area. Maybe this will help some people decide to go.
I do hope the event is well attended amid all the problem we are facing today. Glad to see so many local events happening and this will be a help to the local economy near Billings. Everyone race often and stay safe and healthy.

Re: Yellowstone
Made the trip for a national open a couple years back. Wish I was able to make it out for this. Aside from the gravel road which at the time was a washboard I loved the place. The staff was great the facility itself was really nice and yeah just a short drive into Billings. Will definitely make it back someday.

Re: Yellowstone
I'm going to try to make it, put a new bullet in the Duster last week, will make some shakedown runs in Vegas on Saturday. If all is well will turn Northward for Firebird Raceway's Divisional and then head eastward to make the double at Yellowstone, quite the trip from San Diego! Gotta do something to salvage this season...
