Unhappy RIP Glenn Steyers

I just learned about the passing of Glen Steyers.

Glenn was a close friend since the late 1980's and known to many in this forum and the Sportsman classes and Pro Stock. Glen was probably one of the best camshaft lobe designer's I have worked with and helped many during his tenure at Cam Dynamics and later at Crane Cams. Later on he moved on his own with GS Products.

My prayers and condolences to the family!
Godspeed my friend!

I've also known Glenn since the late eighties. All my National Records have his input and camshafts, just recently we went through a couple of more cams and we were starting to get a handle on this thing again. I used to tell Glenn those damn cigarettes were going to get him. Not that this matters now but does anyone know what caused this untimely passing?
Glenn will be sorely missed by all that knew him, God Speed my friend we'll all catch up to you one day.

With Great Respect, Henry

I spoke to Glenn on the 4th , 3 days ago , he gave no indication that he was sick, and sounded his usual self. I went to him 15 years ago at the suggestion of a fellow racer. Really enjoyed his way of doing business and his personality. Our conversations were more like 2 friends talking even though we never met face to face. Can't believe he is gone, we just had a discussion about our ages (same) and how time goes by.

RIP my friend, condolences to all, the racing community has lost a friend

Henry,

He suffered an Aneurysm and was told it was instant and fatal.
I told him the same many times about cigarettes and he just chuckled.
He will be missed!

Thank you, we all know that his family suffered with the aftermath.
Yeah, his voice and our discussions will be sorely missed.
I myself as well as many that knew him are at a loss.
God speed.
