Trying to process what I just watched and I'm not sure I can. As a courtesy I won't name the driver but the car blew the tires away at the hit of the throttle. He never lifted (think funny car style burnout) and the car finally blew up the engine and oiled the track from 1,000 feet to the turnoff. Long streak of white powder going down now. We all make mistakes but this is probably the better part of an hour that we're not getting back.
