It looks to me like division 4 ought to have a class racers association to put on a few races during the year to give people an alternative place to race instead of having to put up with what we went through at Houston. I know we try to run as many Ihra races as we can but it"s just not the same due to not having as many of your friends there racing with you. There is a number of associations in the midwest and northeast; why can't we have something like that down here in division 4. Just a thought.

Why don't you get some of your friends to go to an IHRA race with you? You can make some new friends also! Jim

Mr. Carpenter,

Thank you for your email and appreciate your feedback pertaining to the recent NHRA O’Reilly Spring Nationals at Royal Purple Raceway. We understand there will be individuals who did not like the decision to cancel the sportsman series but this decision was made by NHRA, not Royal Purple or the owners of the track. Due to the event being televised live by ESPN, NHRA determined it was in their best interests to cancel all eliminations for the sportsman racers.

Thank you again for taking the time to reach out to us and our hope is that you will continue to be a Royal Purple fan not only because our products outperform other lubricants in the market, but that you want the best racing oils to help you outperform the competition.

Sincerely,

Really? That's it? Screw Royal Purple! I wouldn't use RP even if the only other oil company was Quaker State!! What a bunch of BS. That's supposed to satisfy the racers? Really? RP lubed you guys up and NHRA stuck it in and broke it off. But you guys just keep going back ya'hear cause there are more enhancements ahead. The term "more money than sense" keeps running through my mind. Jim

BTW, the K&N Spring Fling is opposite of the Topeka national. The PEAK Super Stock Camaro will be in Bristol...

Wow. Very sterile and blunt.

Can one imagine if NASCAR cancelled a supporting Saturday show for any reason and never mentioned it in their media mouthpieces?

Just a few years ago, you had to enter early so you wouldn't get slammed out.
Houston had 452 entries, Atlanta has 303 with only 16 Top Sportsman and 29 SG. When was the last time you saw only 29 SGers at a national. Quota was 60.

The Stock Performer Points will stay intact as Stock Class was complete. The new numbers should be posted today or tomorrow. But I didn't win anyway.

You cant be a victim if you are a volunteer.
