I hope you are correct about SS, but I doubt it.

If there is any more attrition it going to be all run. I will go with Chuck D on this one .5 is going to get you in at this point with breakage and possibilty of a DQ or 2.

I gree with Charley ; This could be one for the "History " books at the U.S. Nationals !! Paul could be right also, could be a all run field or very close to it! Bill

Looks like it will close in less than hour at 146 for SS and 141 for Stock. There may be a few that don't even get on the sheet so may be that only .25-.30 under will get you in. Participation can partly be blamed on NHRA's handling of the new cars but since Pro Stock is the ONLY full field then the economy must certainly be a factor. Nevertheless, class will be very interesting again this year and worth the price of admission.

The times certainly are a changing...imagine Warren Johnson racing all year without a round win, this drag racing sure is a tough habit to break.

Its too late to get off of work now,but if I knew only 141 cars would enter,I surely would have entered a long time ago.

Many of the classes listed are incorrect (Ken Miele moving to A, Barton having a DP, Bowling being AF/S instead of A/S, etc. etc.) but this is taken straight from the entry list sorted in class order...going to be some brutal class runoffs and some moving where advantageous of course....for those waiting in line and furiously studying Nitro Joe's Stats.

Les Norton will have his beautiful V10 there to help the rest of us V10 guys battle the CJs

Welcome to Terry Emmons as well in the triple zero car which Teuton has

Should be very interesting on Thursday morning - for that matter on Wednesday

I do not know what 1000ft racing is - never have and never will

Them CJs are really fast

:-) peace
