Look up electric cars catching fire while charging. Then decide if technology is ready yet.

Idiots in gas stations never catch their car on fire while fueling.

"Idiots" manage to burn down their houses and choke on cheeseburgers too! Most go into politics. Maybe what humanity needs to do is eliminate "idiots".

Have you ever seen a lithium-ion battery overheat and burst into flames in a cellphone while it's in the owner's pocket? Or in a laptop while it's on the owner's lap? Or in an EV while it's going down the road? There's stuff like that all over the internet.
The point being, it's beyond the users control. If a person can "catch their car on fire while fueling", then "it's" probably something that they are doing and it probably has something to do with idiocy.

Unhappy Re: Dodge going Electric

FCA/Stellantis closed down the SRT division this past week, with its employees being moved into their respective "base car" groups from what I understand. I doubt we ever see anything like the Demon again

What are the possibilities of having an electric pickup that could tow that trailer??? I can see me trying to pull into/or out of a charging station with that combo. Funniest home videos comes to mind.
1. Please get back in to the game!

2. I am sure you could find an electric truck to tow with, I doubt it would have much range with the trailer.

3. I am sure charging would be an adventure!

I'm not sure if I should order my 2035 electric COPO to replace the 2019 yet. It ain't wore out, goes like hell and is the most fun I've encountered. Letric cars have their place but I hope the Gubmint don't shove them down our throat. If we could just let the people that need combustion vehicles do their stuff and allow the Letric stuff play by the same rules it would be OK. But I doubt it will play out like that. Gubmint don't work that way. Just sayin.........

You individuals that live in 70 degree temps year round need to come to South Dakota and make a customer trip of 300 miles in minus 10 degree temps with your lectric vehicle and we will see how far you get. Your heater will drain your battery/batteries in the first hour.

But, I will follow you with my trusty diesel and have my tow rope available to pull you to the next charging station, which is probably Sioux Falls, Rapid City, Aberdeen, maybe Mitchell. Dress warm!

You can keep you lectric vehicle. Thank you very much!!

You guys are on your own with electric vehicles. I can see it now, lines extending for miles just to charge your battery at a charging station POWERED by a sooty, smoking diesel generator. Gimme a break........
