Well it didn't happen .......but it was a sight .Bartons car left perfect and carried the wheels way out while a foot off the ground .But when the scoreboard lit up it was 8.07 at a whopping 168 and change MPH .The Ford camp had Holbrook trying but produced big time wheelspin a car length off the line but both will be back to try again .

119 stockers made the first pass + 1 that did not go down! At least 11 in A/SA!! According to my notes, Adam Keir is fastest @ 9.832! This should be a great race for class! They just called up super stock.

Ron, we plan on going to Rockingham at the end of the month and that will be it for this year!
Stock just made their 2nd run of the day. The temperature is now around 70 and most people slowed down .03 or more. It is another beautiful day here in the hills of PA! I guess the record setters are in the teardown barn now. Jim Marshall picked up another .04 this morning and Ficacci picked up .01, I think. |
