I don't remember what the weight break was for SS/R but it's likely that he was running a 283 at 220 horsepower? Jimmy ran that motor combination for a lot of years. It seems to me that a '66 Impala with a 220 horsepower also ran SS/R at one time so the weight would just about even out. I'm sure that someone out there knows for sure.

I believe in 1978 the Classification for the Chevelle wagon was "R". I think they consolidated things for 1979 and it became an "N". It could have been 77/78, but in that time period. That's the way it worked for my '65 Chevelle Wagon.
