Thanks everyone. And thanks Tom for taking the picture of the car. Come on down and have a cold on on us.
Sorry I have been so slow in posting. We have been up watching super stock class and seeing everyone. Last night we were guilty of drowning our sorrows in Teuton's wine. We did well to make it make to the motorhome. In the barn for 1st session is Beeler, Polhill, Sledge (pulling a piston), Quinn, Shaul, DeFrank, McFarland, Evan Smith, Kent LaPorte, Koski. I don't have my list. Larry left with the golf cart. Maybe a couple more. I will update. Met Evan Smith last night. Good guy (for a Yankee). He seemed to be the only one with a possible problem in the barn. Valve too big. Will let you know more later. Jeff Teuton pulled out this morning to get home before the hurricane. |

Hi Patsy,
Did you see McClanahan go dead late on the tree in SS? Transbrake button must have stuck. I've never seen him that late. And he had him covered by over a tenth. Shucks!

Also in the barn were Bruce Noland and Brian Rogers. We haven't been back up to check on how everything came out, but they just announced the ladder sheets were available at DRAW so all must be determined. Should be posted soon. We are going up in a few minutes so we will let you know if it hasn't been posted when we get back.

Can anyone there give me the sportsman "run" schedule for Saturday? NHRA's website tends to neglect that "little" detail.
Also, is the broadcast on the radio for the locals? What is the #'s? Thanks in advance |

Thanks, Alan.
As much of the schedule as I know--Stock -Round 1-7:30, Super Gas--Round 2, Stock-Round 2. Super stock does not run. They have teardown. That is as far as we know since we are leaving after that. Just went up to give Brett McFarland his bottle of Makers Mark for winning A/S. Nothing much happening tonight. Everyone getting ready for round 1. Did hear that Bogan's super stocker was in the barn for a while this afternoon. Well, more tomorrow. Patsy |

Thanks Patsy,
I may try to catch you and that beautiful pink Cuda tomorrow. I am riding with my partner from work and I am not sure he will be up in enough time so I can enjoy you sportsman. He will be more interested in the Pro's, I will be trying to get him interested in the REAL racers. I will try to get the FM station on and hope we can catch some while we are coming in. Good luck to all and keep up these great updates, I can't wait to get there. |

Well, we are on our way home now. Had an interesting Indy, but way too short. Sorry I didn't get you more info while we were there, but just didn't get around to get any gossip.
This morning during 1st round, Robbie Shaw had the best wheelie of the weekend. Then Miller of the Lucas oil Emmons crew had a really nice one, too. Our friends Paul Boster and Lyn Smith are still in, so good luck to them. I don't think round 3 is until tomorrow. In the barn when we left were Hodges, Sheehan, Wade and others. Yesterday teardown ran really slow because when superstock ran, they had to go and check on them. They didn't end up but with 1 session of stock teardown. Well, if everything goes well, we are planning on going to Earlville next weekend, so we will do some live reports from there. See ya then! Patsy |
