It is supposed to be really hot here again today. Heat index yesterday at 6 was 113. We spent most of the day in the motorhome. Supposed to be about 100 today again. It was 84 when we ran this morning at 8. I have some pics that I will try to post later.

Got a little internet for a minute. We are waiting to run the 3rd round. Still hot and humid. Not many spectators here. Just way too hot. Bader and Co. has had live bands every night here. The Skillmans are parked just across from where they play. They said they didn't stop til 1 last night. The fireworks were great last night. Went on for probably 15-20 minutes. The race to watch this round is the Bo Butner-Drew Skillman heads up run! Should be interesting.

I'm at most every race you're at bud. Enough of your backhanded bull**** on the forums. If you have something to say, man up and come say it to my face...

Thanks to Jiffy-Tite and Weldon Performance for a great meal tonight. Great burgers, brats, coleslaw, potato salad, watermelon, cantelope, cake and cookies! I am sure all the racers really appreciated the hospitality and not having to cook out as hot as it is! I took a few pics so I will get them downloaded and posted a little later.

Everyone was wondering what happened to Ben Wenzel. He broke a cam, but it didn't destroy anything else, so he got it changed and is ready to go in the morning. Keith Lynch has his old car out and had some issues with it since it had been sitting for 4 years, but he should be ready in the morning also.

More a little later.

How about Dave and Ben Wenzel!
They never let any breakage get them down!
Certainly both of those guys are a Racer's Racer!

In the show Sunday too!
