Even though I was and still are a Chevy man, I loved the early 413s and max wedges. Could have easily switched from Chevy in those years.

They never ran more than one at a a time. Weldon raced this car in 63, he then ran a 64 Max Wedge light weight. They ran the white 63 in 1965. In 66 they ran a 66 Street Hemi hardtop. In 67 that car got Hilborn injection and ran in C Gas. They also had a 67 GTX that ran SS/EA. In 68 they ran a 67 they purchased from Don Gotheer. That was the last car that had Cox Motors on it. The last car they ran was a M/P Duster also purchased from Don Grotheer that they ran in Pro Stock.

I have attached another shot of the red 63 at Ft. Smith, I am not sure who is in the other lane, as well as the 64 at Tulsa North.

Dave, so what would have been your pick, a Dodge or Plymouth...and what other teams did talk to back then.
