Joe certainly is a talented young driver that has a great future in front of him -- that being said one thing you don't or won't understand about Stocker racing is that its not all car or all driver - it takes a well prepared and very repeatable car and Mr.Rowe certainly has provided him with that .I'm not so sure that if he was driving a new style CobraJet or Drag-Pak car he would have done as well as he has ........maybe someday we'll know .One thing i'm sure of -- when you have the fastest car in your class its never forever .

PS - One last thing -- if you expect folks on this forum to take you serious use your given name .

Stocker 2, seriously? Stock has always been a class where the fast guys spend lots and lots of money and even the best get beat heads-up from time to time. No matter what car anyone drives there is no guarantee.

Ultimately, if you want to win heads-up get the fastest car. If that is what is important then you have to go with the best combo at that time. Successful guys in Comp switch classes all the time to maintain an edge in performance, and in Circle Track and road racing teams switch cars, combos and manufacturers when necessary. It is crazy to think anyone could race the same car for decades and remain on top. This happens in no other form of motorsports yet Stock and SS racers think that's the way it should be for them. Sometimes you have to join 'em to beat 'em.
