Stocker 2, seriously? Stock has always been a class where the fast guys spend lots and lots of money and even the best get beat heads-up from time to time. No matter what car anyone drives there is no guarantee.
Ultimately, if you want to win heads-up get the fastest car. If that is what is important then you have to go with the best combo at that time. Successful guys in Comp switch classes all the time to maintain an edge in performance, and in Circle Track and road racing teams switch cars, combos and manufacturers when necessary. It is crazy to think anyone could race the same car for decades and remain on top. This happens in no other form of motorsports yet Stock and SS racers think that's the way it should be for them. Sometimes you have to join 'em to beat 'em. |
