Re: Midwest Class Racers---photo thread
Tim, I check this thread daily as I'm sure others do. So as long as you keep posting pics, we'll keep looking! Remeber you promised us earlier hundreds of photos to get us through til spring! Thank you so much for all you do supporting stock/super stock.
I also would like to also thank John McLeod for all he does promoting stock/super stock in our area. I know my invlovment and Watertown Ford Chrysler's involvment would not be what it is if not for him. I know I'm not alone in that respect. Now more wheelie pics please! |

I have lots of posting to do yet. I had a related project I needed to get done before I left town for a week. I am making a hardcover book of this years photos from the Midwest Class Racers events. When it is done, I will post photos of it, too. Stay tuned, my end will just go dark for a week. |

Don Anderson set the M/S record at the Pierre National Open.
Here's a couple shots of the teardown process. Do all of the stock eliminator pistons have NHRA stamped in them? www.tmcperformancephoto.com |

Re: Midwest Class Racers---photo thread
I have the same pistons, but they do not have NHRA stamped on them? Strange!

Re: Midwest Class Racers---photo thread
Sean, are the valve release's cut different for intake and exhaust in your pistons, my cp pistons never had nhra stamped on them, i've had 4 sets over the last several years, 305 Chevy pistons. Tom

Re: Midwest Class Racers---photo thread
Tom, my 83 combo has the same pistons as the 85, so everything should be identical. CP must not consistantly mark the pistons with NHRA. I have had to replace some pistons when my crank decided to multiply and the new CP pistons are lazer etched with the part number now.
