Re: What has changed in Stock Eliminator since 2015?
once again, mr. desk top dyno, a nobody, a computer programmer, a clueless old man who never raced and that no one here with a clue gives him, nor his malarkey the time of day, has decided again, to reply only to comment about me.
Pathetic old fool who's days are running out on this rock yet he spends them here, on a forum he has no first hand knowledge and experience of the topics being discussed.

Wrong again Ed! I think that I answered his second question rather well! Unlike your first post which didn't answer any of the man's questions at all. It only told him how expensive it has gotten. Does anyone tell you how to spend your money?

Re: What has changed in Stock Eliminator since 2015?
you say I'm wrong because you don't have the coin to field a competitive stocker that can win a championship in stock eliminator today. Meanwhile the stock eliminator racers I'm friends with aren't happy just to show up and maybe win a round or two, No they show up chasing the championship with cars that are capable of winning a championship and they have the driving skills to do so.

Now we have a clear difference between you and me. Back when I did race I was nowhere near the fastest, but I did my own work, built my own engines, rebuilt my manual trans and setup my own rear ends. It looks look you and yours friends just write checks. To each there own. But that is not what racing is for me.

No, I said you're wrong because you're wrong. And this^^^^^^ has nothing to do with the questions asked.
But since you've brought up the subjects, I don't ever remember discussing my financial means with you. I'm comfortable enough to do whatever I would want to do and I don't have an EGO that big.
I've said on many threads before, "I'm not going to spend $100,000 to make $2,000. THAT isn't very good financial advice, not that I asked you for any.
Now, as far as the "stock eliminator racers you're friends with", instead of putting words in their mouths why don't you ask them to give me a call or post on here (they're all members here) and let THEM tell me what they would think of my chances of winning a championship if I decided to do so. Unlike you, they know what I'm capable of if I decide to do something. I'm pretty sure that I still can figure out how to put together a competitive Camaro of Nova, I've got a few. But you see, I'd have to BUILD it myself so that when I win in it I can claim ALL of the accolades. Not like you!

Re: What has changed in Stock Eliminator since 2015?
Billy, when was the last time you won a Divisional in Stock Eliminator?
When was the last time you won the Division championship in Stock Eliminator?
When was the last time you won a National Event in Stock Eliminator?
That said, you get no more points, no more $, no bigger Wally for "building" your car if/when you win a race then the guy that paid someone like Tom Goldman who liked your reply, to build their car or the guy that bought a brand new DragPak, Cobra Jet or COPO.

What does this^^^^^^ have to do with anything? I'll ask YOU the same questions, YOU not your son.
Face it Ed, YOU'VE never won anything in your life. You're nothing but talk. And entertainment. I guess Kenny likes that.

Re: What has changed in Stock Eliminator since 2015?
That has everything to do with this thread, you haven't won shyt in 2 decades because you don't have the car(s) nor the skills to win anymore, Stock has changed since 2015 as the OP asked and it's nothing like it was 20 years ago and you should know that better than me and many others.
WRONG Billy, I've got big checks on the wall of my trailer with my name on them and everyone is more $ than you've ever won in a race!
That said, I've never competed in stock eliminator and never will but my son may and IF he does, it's not a question of IF but when he wins the championship because I will build/buy the best tool for the job for him to compete and he's got the skills at both ends of the track. I can see it now, the haters lining up along the fence watching him turn on the win light in his 1st final in stock eliminator whether it be a divisional or national event.
This is a young man's game Billy IF winning races and championships are the goal and it requires money and a 100% effort.

Billy,
It is a different world. This has been talked about here before. Ad revenue. Google looks at site traffic / clicks, and doesn't care if the traffic / clicks is generated because some nothing clown posts up bad advice and opinions.
