Round 1 of Super Stock was great and the HEMI cars were awesome.
Round 1 of Stock had lots of red lights and break outs. |

He just lost in Rd 1 of SS. I assume that means he teched in, ended up on the bottom of the ladder as "DQ" (maybe a clerical error) because he didn't make a run yesterday.

For all of us purest, in the “Barn” is Hale, Fisher, Butcher, and Campolito in stock and B Worner and another Super Stocker.
Rumor has it that the Widuch, (VeeDoo) race team has come to an end. I can’t thank George enough for his help and sound advice over the years. So if anyone is looking for a quality car that is this year Indy class winner, now is the time Last edited by Larry Hill; 09-02-2021 at 02:07 PM. |

Any car built by George Widuch and Jerry Bennett separately or together is first class.

Two masters and great guys to boot. I’m not sure which of their cars I like more but the Aspen campaigned by Jim Wahl now looks like it rolled off the showroom floor and Jerry’s old 62 is pristine.

And the Volare/Aspen makes a great race car! I suspect almost as good as the Duster/Demon except they can also run 340's as well as the 318 and 360. Personally I liked the 318 in super stock and the 360 in stock back in the day when we ran one.
