check out maps.yahoo.com and type in Indianapolis Raceway Park, then satellite, then zoom on in. You can see all the trailers and some cars in the staging lanes.

You're welcome everybody. I really like racing and this is my little contribution.
Didn't go up to watch SS, but I just heard them say that Westcott is the fastest SS/AH at 8.77, if I heard them correctly. We run again in about an hour or so. Patsy |

Dusty--I tried out the Yahoo deal---pretty cool!!!!! If you move the hand around you can see the whole track.

Just got back from our 2nd run and I had to get in the cool and sit down for a while. It was worse in the stands than last weekend in Bowling Green. You don't appreciate those covered stands til you sit out in the sun. On our guages back in the pits, it was 96 degrees with adjusted altitude 3360'. It is HOT! I don't think anybody much picked up except the #1 qualifier. He went 1.36 under this time. Most everybody else slowed down .04 or more. A few more cars showed up this time. There is not a clean-up session on the schedule, but everything seems to be running pretty well. We'll just have to wait and see if there is another session.
More later. Patsy |

Patsy,
Thanks for the great "live" coverage, it's generous of you and much appreciated by all. The heat seems to have effected the Hemi cars in a big way, is the track good enough for the SS/AHs? Frank |
