The deuce is rolling now ! It will be coming home in a day or two and I'll be doing a good bit of welding. I have to plate some holes in the firewall, mount the fuel cell, battery box, master cut-off switch, fuel pump, and some other stuff, then off to the paint shop. I'll get some more pics soon.

It looks like a very nice job, but is that legal for Super/Stock, Natural, GT, or Modified. I thought the rear frame rail could not be higher than the stock floor line. Hopefully it is acceptable as it is very well done

I was wondering the same thing Wade. I'm doing the same thing to a 66 Chevy II over the winter , so I was looking at this closely.

It will be fine. Dan Fletcher seems to do well and his car was built by the same man. He also has built many, many National event winners,Best engineered winners, record holders, etc etc.
Shucks, I've seen some super stockers that looked more like a super gas car to me. |

I hope that is what nhra is accepting these days because my ole ride was built back in 85 and still has the 4 link under the floor. I do know that the sheet metal between the frame rails is suposed to be factory. I was raked over the coals when I first built my car by tech and had to change this.I would have your nhra tech guy look car over before carpet if I were you JC. May save you down the road. Looks good JC,good luck with your ride.
